For a flat fee of $100.00, I will come to your home and, for up to 2 hours, check your system for the presence of worms and viruses, see if your antivirus protection is adequate, and check for the operating system patches that close the holes worms use to attack your system. I can also check for adware and spyware programs, and show you how to screen email and reduce the amount of spam mail that reaches your inbox. Your hard disk will be cleaned up and defragmented. Worms, viruses, adware, etc. will be removed as time allows. Additional time to remove invasive programs, update patches and antivirus software, etc. will be charged at $65.00 per hour. Hardware and software improvements will be recommended – purchase of the correct materials and installation are available.
